WHO WE ARE

Our approach ensures flexibility, adaptability and rapid response

Italiaware was founded in early 1994, from an idea by Massimo Rotunno, to localize software for Mac and Windows into Italian, to provide Mac user news about the Apple world, to publish not only news but also Mac desktop wallpapers, and to provide free hosting space to Italian programmers without a website. Furthermore, it embraced the open source and freeware philosophy early on.
In a short time, with dedication, passion, and sacrifice, Italiaware specialized in software localization. Massimo Rotunno also worked on the localization of Apple's Mac OS operating system. Today, he works closely with Apple on testing and functional quality of the operating system.
Massimo Rotunno, as a journalist, has also collaborated with numerous offline and online publications, such as Applicando, Mac World, and The Daily Bit, the independent online magazine of information and communication technologies.
Italiaware is currently committed to localizing software for Mac OS, Windows, other software platforms, and various other content, and provides ongoing support to all users with passion and dedication.
